SKS Founder and CEO, Vikram Akula, speaks at UN's Year of
Microcredit Forum in New York
New York � To conclude the UN�s
Year of Microcredit, a list of who�s who in international
development gathered for three days at UN Headquarters in New York
to discuss building inclusive financial systems and the impact
microcredit can have on achieving the millennium development goals.
The program included a list of prominent speakers, including Her
Royal Highness Princess M�xima of The Netherlands and Mr. Paul
Wolfowitz, President, The World Bank Group discussing a range of
issues from private sector capital to migration issues and
post-disaster/post-conflict situations. SKS Founder and CEO, Vikram
Akula, spoke on a panel about technology and leveraging the latest
innovations to expand the outreach of microfinance.
