Sapna graduated Phi
Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago and holds a B.A in Economics.
She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
in August 2003.Sapna worked with JP Morgan Investment Management
within the US Equity Research Group covering the Capital
Markets and Media sectors for three years.
Anuradha
Pillai a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with
a BA in Mathematics, is serving as an American India
Foundation (AIF) Service Corps Fellow with SKS' Finance and
Accounts Department. Her responsibilities include preparing
loan and grant applications, drafting an internal accounts
manual, and developing a Social Return on Investment (SROI)
model for SKS. Prior to her work with SKS, Anu spent two
years as an Investment Banking Analyst in JPMorgan's Global
Transportation Group.
Rishi
Aurora is a graduate
of Northeastern University where he concentrated in MIS and
Finance. In addition, Rishi has worked with Credit
Suisse. First Boston and Symbol Technologies where he
specialized in financial. Analysis and data warehousing.
Rishi's work with SKS includes financial reporting
automation and research on rural internet connectivity.
Mayuri
Guntupalli is an
Education Program Associate. She has worked with several
social service organizations and most recently was a Mickey
Leland–Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow in the U.S. and
spent a year learning methods to combat hunger and poverty
in the U.S. and abroad. She graduated from Tufts University
with a degree in International Relations and a
concentration in economic development and spent the
year after she graduated working to develop and coordinate
students programs for the newly founded Tufts University
College of Citizenship and Public Service. Mayuri has spent
much of her time working on various social justice
initiatives.
David
Lynch - A Chartered Accountant and current
graduate student at Harvard University's Kennedy School of
Government, David established SKS Internal Audit division.
(June-August, 2002) His responsibilities ranged from researching internal audits for microfinance, drafting a
internal audit manual, and training the internal audit team.
Ankur
Sarin - A graduate student from University of Chicago's Harris School
of Public Policy, Ankur collected data for an impact analysis
of SKS borrowers (June-August 2001). He is currently pursuing
Ph.D. work at the Harris School.
Romi
Bhatia - A graduate of UC Berkeley, with a
BA in Political Science,
Romi spend 9 months as a Fulbright scholar in India with SKS.
He served as a Technology Research Associate and prepared an
analysis of SKS's Smart-Card/Palm-Pilot project. He currently
is a graduate student at Columbia University's School for
International Public Affairs.
Rupa
Raman - A
graduate of the the Wharton School, with a BA in Economics, Rupa served as a
Finance intern. Her main responsibilities were preparing loan
applications for on-lending funds (June-August 2001). Rupa
currently works as an analyst with JP Morgan in NY.
Prasanna
Kumar - A graduate of the University of Australia,
Prasanna taught computer skills to field staff (January-June
2000). Prasanna is currently pursuing graduate studies in
economics.
